I've been thinking about how interesting global healthcare is, and I've began to grow an interest in the ways that innovation and creativity can impact health around the world. community interventions and education are especially interesting to me because they are hands on and encourage interactions that are rare in the United states. It is not often that providers and health professionals interact on a personal and intimate level with patients and the public. In fact the human interaction and the feeling of satisfaction that you are directly impacting and involved in people'e lives might be the thing that I would enjoy the most.

I cannot say that I am passionate about global health, because I've never been involved in any intervention or health education programs, but I would jump at the opportunity to do so.

I also like the fact that certain technologies thart seem basic to citizens of the U.S., can be life saving and life changing in other communities around the world. for example, basic flip phones can be utilized for the carrying out of multiple education and intervention tasks. In fact, it is one of the reasons that I started this blog. I want to know the innovations, ideas, trends, and concepts that are circulating throughout the healthcare industry; and I figured that this would be a great way to air out my thoughts and do personal reasearch about the healthcare industry. I've noticed that it is not always the most expensive or jaw dropping ideas that bring about positive health care improvements. Sometimes the idea that is rooted in virtue and the needs of the people whom will be served are the most impactful efforts. Another thing that adds to my excitement toward global health is the fact that health has an interesting correlation to the many areas of any single individuals life. Education, family-life, earned wages, etc., are affected by, and affect health. Anyway...I just wanted to post this so that I could get some of my creative juices flowing and get in the rhythm of adding content to my blog consistently. Hopefully I'll bring ya'll something interesting and though provoking.
